[VIDEO] Westgate Siege Unanswered Questions

The government update on the Westgate Mall on Wednesday was intended to answer critical questions on the status of the operation. But the press conference by the security top brass led by Interior Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku failed this expectation with government officials unable or unwilling to provide information on, among other issues, the fate of all the terrorists involved.

Although the government has said five of the attackers are confirmed dead, it has no firm word on the whereabouts of the rest of the terrorists estimated at around 10. The government was also uncommitted on the nationality of the attackers or whether there were females among them including the British Militant Samantha Lethwaite.

And as Citizen TV's Jacky Maribe reports, the nagging questions are not helped by the contradictory statements among senior government officials.
