News just in indicates that
Makadara MP Mike Mbuvi a.k.a Sonko just a few minutes ago deposited Ksh 600,000
at the Milimani Law Courts to help bail out his friend and fellow MP Ferdinand
Waititu.
Waititu was this morning instructed to deposit Ksh 1 million
at the court before he can be released on bail. As it stands his shortfall on
the bail is Ksh 400,000 although he is also required to pay an additional Ksh
100,000 for breaking the terms of a previous bail agreement.
Waituti’s is charged with incitement and hate speech over
comments he made against members of the Maasai community in Kayole on Monday
that are believed to have led to the death of two men. Lately he has become the
poster child of Kenyan politicians behaving badly.
