Former Nominated MP Racheal Wambui Shebesh will win the Nairobi County’s Women Representative seat with a landslide, if elections were to be held today, new poll has shown.According to the poll conducted by Ipsos Synovate, Shebesh who is popularly known as Manzi wa Nairobi garnered 48 percent against her closest rival Sylivia Mingalo of ODM who only secured 4 percent.
The other contestants, Rahab Ndambuki, Tabitha Wanjira, Mary Mudachi and Ester Passaris- each polled 1 percent.
Shebesh is vying the seat on The National Alliance (TNA) party, which is associated with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta.
It seems Shebesh may run away with Nairobi County’s Women Representative since she has no serious opponent in the race.
The survey was conducted between February 5 and 8 and the pollster interviewed registered voters from 17 constituencies from Nairobi County.
