He also won the groove awards Video producer of the year 2011 and the Mwafaka awards 2013 Video director Of The Year.
In 2013 J Blessing married his beautiful wife Chantelle from the Tokelezea song. They had been married in the Attorney general’s office in 2012 and decided to do the white wedding later. The two have also been blessed with a baby boy.
It is said that J Blessing is now bankrupt as his Link Global studio offices have been locked down following rent arrears of up to Sh. 1.2 Million.The story had been publicized by the People Daily and later went viral. He is said to have been working from 1 AM to 4AM to avoid meeting with the property managers over the arrears.
It is said that the Video director ran to Uganda leaving his wife Chantelle in Kenya and his assets being auctioned. In regards to the claims J Blessing had this to say;
“That story is defamatory and libelous against me and my business. My lawyers are planning to sue the publishers of the People Daily and anyone else who reprints the story or publishes similar allegations against me.”
The article he was referring to was allegedly published on People Daily Magazine on Friday and he sent this text to the writer who wrote the said article.
