AN OPEN Letter to Ababu Namwamba

Dear Mr. Ababu Namwamba,

I have always believed that you are a man of conscience. Kenyans have treated this slogan of lack of internal democracy in ODM by those whose loyalty have shifted from ODM to other parties as nonsensical. It is a common theme that William Ruto, your friend, used as a smokescreen to destabilize the party when he was busy creating an alliance with Uhuru Kenyatta. Najib Balala, Joe Nyaga and Musalia Mudavadi all used the slogan before decamping to support Uhuru Kenyatta. Therefore, Kenyans are now used to this excuse of crying wolf and blaming ODM leadership every time party loyalty has shifted to the highest bidder.
If you feel STRONGLY that you are being mistreated in ODM, the best honourable thing to do, in my opinion, is simply resign from the party and become whatever you want to be by realizing your full potentials as you have eloquently stated. Nobody is stopping Ababu Namwamba from attaining his full potential in life. What ODM members are concerned about is your clandestine manoeuvres to destabilize the party at the behest of your paymasters. Just leave ODM and form your own party or join one that will not suppress your ambitions of realizing your full potentials. Don't wait to be fired by ODM members, and I repeat, ODM members, the way Miguna Miguna was fired!
