The badly mutilated bodies of Robert Oyaro, 29, and Wycliffe Maronga, 30, were found in separate places near Nyankongo River on the outskirts of Kisii town on Saturday.
One of the bodies was dumped in the river while the other was tied to a tree. The two were in a company of three other men from a village in Gucha who had on Wednesday last week gone to collect the money from the woman who lives at Jogoo Estate in Kisii town last week but never returned.
A week ago, the body one of the men identified as Dennis Ogega, 28, was found wrapped in a carton box and dumped along a footpath at Kiogoro location in Kisii Central District.
Florence Maronga, mother to one of the missing men, said her daughter in-law had taken off with the Sh40,000 her son had sent.
