President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta has broken his silence over persistent claims by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy, CORD, leaders that the March 4th presidential election outcome was rigged in his favour. Kenyatta has told his CORD rival prime minister to stop politicizing the matter and await the verdict of the supreme court. He charged that Raila's pronouncements regarding the issue was not only sub-judice, but risked stoking tension in the country.
Kenyatta spoke a day after the Raila told a roadside rally in Changamwe, Mombasa on Mondday that his victory was stolen, claiming that he had garnered 5.7 million votes against Kenyatta's 4.5 million votes.
