The Presidential Petition Mentioning Set for Wednesday

The Kenya Supreme court is expected to convene on Wednesday to give directions on the three petitions before it, related to the March 4 Presidential Elections.

In one of the petitions filed on Saturday, CORD presidential candidate Raila Odinga accused the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ( IEBC) of negligence and failure to conduct free and fair elections in the March 4 elections.

Addressing a press conference, he said his coalition has enough evidence to challenge IEBC results.

Advocates representing petitioners and respondents in the petitions have been summoned for the mention of the cases before the six judges of the SupremeCourt.

The mention will be in open court and is expected to commence at 10am.
