Social media has been awash with rumours that the mother of the two university sisters who died in a grisly road accident in Kisii had committed suicide following the painful loss of her daughters.

She had raised the two ladies single handedly after their father died and she did everything possible to give them the best education. 

The two who were students of Kenyatta University, died on the spot after the car they were travelling in to a party collided with an on­coming lorry.
