Mr. Benson Wanjau, founder of Hope Foundation is said to have volunteered to help the family of the sick girl who was diagnosed with frontal bone defect known as frontal Encephalocele, raise money needed for her surgery only for him to flee afterwards. Wanjau is said to have had opened a bank account under the child’s name (Fidelis Muthoni) and had also acquired a MPesa pay bill number through which well-wishers send in their monetary donations.
Feeling played by a con who presented himself as a good Samaritan, the girl’s father, Kenneth Kinuthia has come out to urge the government assist him in nabbing the notorious man and recovering the hefty amount of cash.
