A damning report by the Controller of Budget Agnes Odhiambo reveals Obado spent Ksh 54.3 million on sitting allowances only coming second to Nairobi County with over 100 million. This expenditure indicts Obado whom opponents have accused of using county funds to buy political support of members of Migori County Assembly as well as top Jubilee Alliance politicians.
Homabay County spent 31.0 million while Kisumu spent 13.4 million. Siaya County spent the least amount at ksh 12.8 million.
