Doctors have studied Nong Youhui’s amazing eyesight since his dad took him to hospital in Dahua, southern China, concerned over his bright blue eyes.
Medical tests have shown that Youhui can see in complete darkness. Youhui can read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day.
According to the World Record Academy (the leading international organization that certifies world records), young Youhui has even set the world record for the first human who can see in the dark.
In animals, night vision is made possible by the existence of a thin layer of cells, called the tapetum lucidum. And like a Siamese cat, Youhui’tv9s sky-blue eyes flash neon green when illuminated by a flashlight.
Youhui’s night vision has sparked interest around the world by vision scientists, evolutionary biologists, and genetic engineers; as this is one of the most amazing discoveries in medical science.

I have always been able to see in the dark just as good as in the light and my eyes are brown. They dont glow in the dark but I can do everything in darkness that I can in light.
