Sporadic and persistent gunfire was heard at the Mall as thick smoke billowed from the building at 4pm Kenyan time on Monday
According to Standard Reporter, Cyrus Ombati, the smoke was at the rear side of the building and it was started by the Kenya Defence Forces.
This comes after another explosion was reported at 1pm in the Mall as the Kenya Defence Forces retreated to safe distance.
