President Uhuru Seeking to Postpone ICC Case [VIDEO]

President Uhuru Kenyatta has written to the International Criminal Court seeking a postponement of his trial from the 9th of July to January 2014. Kenyatta's defence teams submitted that they needed more time to prepare, questioning the conduct of the prosecution in the disclosure of witnesses and evidence and the credibility of some of the prosecution witnesses.

The judges of the trial chamber 5 are yet to fix a date for the start of Deputy President William Ruto's trial after a status conference to review that request.
