As his grand coalition government partner co-principal was being feted at state house, Prime Minister Raila Odinga returned to his Kisumu home turf less than a week after he conceded defeat, after the supreme court upheld the election of President-elect UhuruKenyatta.
Odinga criticized the easter weekend ruling by the supreme court, comparing it to the biblical verdict delivered by Pontious Pilate over 2000 years ago, that led to the release of Barabas the murderer and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
This as Odinga and vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka are said to have vacated their respective offices ahead of the inauguration of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
