There was drama and twists in Narok North for one family after the just concluded General Elections when a younger brother was declared a winner for the seat he never vied for against his elder brother who was legally vying for that seat.
Mr. Kountai Ole Kool was vying for the Olokurto Ward seat in the March 4th General Elections but to his surprise, his younger brother Mr. Julius Ole Kool who was nowhere near politics was declared the winner by the IEBC officials.
“Could this be a mere mix-up of names or is it just a deliberate move to finish Mr. Kountai’s political ambitions?” many wondered.
Mr. Kountai now wants the IEBC to change and correct the anomaly. He has petitioned the Director of Public Prosecution Kiriako Tobiko, the Police and the IEBC to swiftly investigate the matter.
