Information PS Bitange Ndemo specifically condemned the CNN video released on Thursday which he said was stage managed and that the network should have verified the report with Kenya security agencies about a militia group CNN claimed in the report was preparing for violence after the elections."CNN did not verify its facts. It went to some bush and stage managed the story," said Dr Ndemo. He added that the government will write a protest letter to CNN and also investigate the source of the footage.
The Kenyan public has also come out strong condemning the video and has called on CNN to apologize to Kenyans
