Transport Minister Amos Kimunya
Transport Minister Amos Kimunya will be packing his bags and taking transport home after Kipipiri voters showed him the door.The Jubilee strongman licked his wounds inflicted by newcomer Samuel Gichigi of Alliance Party of Kenya associated with Energy Minister and Meru Senator elect Kiraitu Murungi.
Gichigi polled 18, 958 against Kimunya’s 16, 693 votes.
Kimunya joins Henry Kosgey, Ayiecho Olweny and Sally Kosgey in the list of serving ministers whose political careers have taken a new turn.
