The court heard that the accused, in December last year, lured the minor into an unfinished building where he committed the inhuman act.
The prosecution led by Inspector James Koech said that the boy promised to give the victim sweets if she agreed to accompany him to the building.
The court further heard that the accused, who was due to join form one this year threatened to stab the minor if she raised any alarm and urged the victim not to reveal their little secret to anyone.
Appearing before the Nyahururu Senior Principal Magistrate, the accused denied the charges and claimed to have been framed by the victim’s parents. He was released on a Sh150 000 bond and a surety of a similar amount.
The hearing of the case will continue on April 25.
