The youth were demanding to be given a share of the money they were allegedly giving out. The youth said that Sonko was in a hall allegedly giving Sh500 per person while Waititu and Shebesh distracted those outside.
The three said they had gone to meet more than 3,000 women when the youths tried to disrupt the meeting. Waititu has not commented on the issue while Sonko dismissed claims that he had lost his jewellry during the incident.
A witness said the youths also threatened a Standard photographer, Eugene Mokua, when he tried to take their after the fracas.
