Citizen TV is still the most popular television station in Kenya. This is according to a quarterly report produced by the Kenya Advertising Research Foundation.
The report ranks TV viewing on a weekly basis and according to it Citizen TV is viewed for about 14.2 hours by the average Kenyan TV watcher.
This might seem like a drop (given that the second quarter results had citizen at 14.6 hours) but that’s until you consider that the station is watched more than twice as often as its closest competition NTV which is watched for 6.5 hours.
The rest of the of top five shapes up pretty predictably with QTV pulling in 6.4 hours of viewing followed by KTN (with 6.2 hours) and KBC (6.1 hours).
