Former Imenti Central MP Gitobu Imanyara is warming up to joining the Jubilee coalition, as rumoured by the kenyan daily post blog .
Credible reports indicates that Jubilee coalition Presidential flag bearer Uhuru Kenyatta attended a Sunday service at Kaaga Methodist Church on Sunday under the invitation of former Imenti Central lawmaker.
Uhuru accompanied by Jubilee bigwigs accepted the invitation and landed in the church compound with The National Alliance (TNA) branded chopper.
Gitobu has been an ardent supporter of Prime Minister Raila Odinga in and outside the floor of the House, and if he transfers his allegiance to Uhuru Kenyatta, it is a fatal blow to the PM, especially in cementing the Meru vote.
Gitobu is vying for Meru Senatorial seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party ticket.
Imanyara will battle it out with Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) party leader Kiraitu Murungi who has since cut ties with DPM Uhuru Kenyatta.
