Kalonzo was booed after he denied Mungiki leader Maina Njenga a chance to address the crowd, who had turned out for the CORD rally, which was to be addressed by CORD coalition Presidential flag bearer Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
It took the intervention of Maina Njenga, who is also the Mkenya Solidarity Movement party leader, to calm the enraged crowd.
Kalonzo is the running mate of Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the CORD coalition.
