In a meeting held at Visa Oshwal Community Centre in Nairobi, the Hindu community leaders said they have confidence on Uhuru Kenyatta’s Presidency, saying it is only Uhuru who can be able to safe guard their interests in the country.
During the meeting, Uhuru, who is also the Jubilee coalition Presidential flag bearer and his running mate William Ruto, who were in attendance, promised the Hindu community that their government will respect the cultural aspects of the community, adding that they will give subsidies to Indian businessmen who want to invest in the country.
Uhuru thanked the community for endorsing his bid saying he will make sure all Kenyan and foreign investors were happy when he clinches the Presidency on March 5th.
