Government Chief Whip Johnstone Muthama has declared that Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka will never work with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto.
Speaking in Nairobi, Muthama vowed that Kalonzo will not return to the G 7 alliance even if Uhuru and Ruto endorsed him for the Presidency.
Muthama, who is also the Kangundo MP, said the next president will be determined by Kenyans and not the two leaders who he said have mistreated Kalonzo during his stay in the alliance.
Muthama was responding to media reports that Uhuru and Ruto plan to resuscitate the G7 alliance by wooing the VP back to the folds.
He said instead of forming alliance with Uhuru and Ruto, the VP will form a pre-election pact with ODM party leader Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
