Juja MP William Kabogo has said he will give first priority to Kiambu residents when dishing out job opportunities, if he is elected Kiambu County governor in the March 4 general election.
Addressing youths at the Limuru Municipal grounds during the presentation of identity cards for luggage boys, Kabogo said no Chinese or any other foreigner will be given jobs at the expense of a Kenyan.
“No Asian company will be given a priority on contracts when the County has well educated and more ambitious young people who are doing well in construction businesses,” the MP said
The flamboyant MP further urged Kiambu residents to vote for a governor who puts interests of Kenyans at heart not a leader who wants to enrich himself.
“We need a governor who is ready to help the community not a person who will be greedy and selfish,” he said.
