Political intrigues and conspiracy continued to rock our murky political podium on Monday, after details emerged that Prime Minister Raila Odinga‘s former spin master Salim Lone secretly authored “Njonjo’s masterpiece” that denounced Uhuru and Ruto’s bid for presidency.
According to a credible source who talked to DAILY POST on condition of anonymity, , he said Salim Lone ,with the help of political advisors from PM’s office co –authored the much publicised article which featured in one of the local dailies, as a way of popularising the PM.
The source said that it was unlikely that Njonjo – a staunch ally of Prime Minister Raila Odinga -- would author an article at his age of 92.

“The article was authored by Salim Lone, but it carried Charles Njonjo’s byline,” a source told the DAILY POST
“But in politics, there is nothing wrong in authoring opinion for others.” He added.
In the article which was “perceived” to be written by Njonjo, the author said Uhuru and Ruto should honour the International Criminal Court (ICC) by dropping their ambitions of vying for presidency.
