Speaking at a rally in Bomet on Sunday, the PM said it is not good for Ruto to part with him yet they didn’t achieve the ODM goals they had promised Kenyans.
“We were playing together with Ruto in 2007 trying to score against our opponents, but now Ruto has changed and wants to score in our goal,” Raila said.
In other words that sounded like begging the Eldoret North lawmaker to come back ot ODM. Raila said that Ruto is still his best friend but they only differ on political ideology.
“That should not confuse you that Ruto is my enemy. He is my best friend and he should come again and work for me so that we can accomplish the aspirations of ODM,” Jovial PM said.
The Mau forest evictions precipitated the frosty relationship between Raila and Ruto and sections of Rift valley MPs.
Ruto has since decamped to the United Republican Party (URP) and eyeing for Presidency in its ticket.
The fiery MP has been in the record saying ODM and its leaders are full of empty rhetoric and he will never associate with them again.
