Sunday, September 02, 2012 - Ellen Wanjiri the Sunday live producer has quit Citizen TV for NTV Uganda where she will be the Managing editor replacing Peter Obondo who relocates to Citizen TV.
With the resignation of the hard working producer Citizen TV is running short of editors as Apollo Opondo is admitted at Nairobi Hospital after he fell ill. Chief Editor Faridah Karoney has however declared that her ship will not fall even with the shortage of personnel as she relocated Boniface Mutakha from the business desk to run the press room.
Apparently Wanjiri left Citizen because she felt unappreciated by her seniors. She claimed that she was more hard working than most people at the media house yet they earn more than she does.
Faridah Karoney has said that she will personally manage the coverage of next year’s General Elections.
