STATEHOUSE SECRETS: PRESIDENT UHURU Opens up About His Private Life, and Why his Children no longer live in StateHouse

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday disclosed details about how he has been living his private life during an interview with Citizen TV. The President divulged that all his three children Jomo, Jaba and Ngina had moved out of the family house to live alone since they were now adults.

He noted that he was now living with his wife, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, who he spends his evenings with. “Sasa ni mimi na mama tu watoto walienda,” (Now it is me and Margaret alone...the children moved out), the President stated, adding that he no longer has time off or privacy.

Uhuru's eldest son Jomo got married in a traditional wedding held in October 2016. Last year, it had been reported that the President's other son, Jaba, was being groomed for politics after he was spotted with Senator Mike Sonko and also in the company of his father.
