, Sonko is asked about the pressure he is getting from the Jubilee leadership to step down from the Nairobi gubernatorial race, and quite surprisingly, he says he would step down for Kenneth.
He even goes further and praises the former legislator for his exemplary performance in managing the Gatanga CDF.
“If Uhuru tells me to leave the seat, I will step down. We can bring on board a person like Peter Kenneth. When he was in Gatanga, he had done wonders with CDF by helping people,” says Sonko in the audio clip that lasts less than a minute clip.
