Mercy Mokeira fell unwell in December last year, she was taken to Kijabe Mission Hospital where she was complaining neck pains.


She was diagnosed as suffering from thyroids. After medication she got better and went home. In mid- January 2017, she felt unwell and was taken to a hospital in Gilgil then referred to North Kinangop Catholic Hospital where she wasn’t diagnosed with any ailment.

During this time she was fatigued that she wouldn’t even talk or do anything by herself. Her blood samples were taken and sent to Nairobi for testing.
