Renowned
political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has waded into
the debate regarding the controversial
amendments to the election laws, which were
acrimoniously passed by Jubilee, and the
subsequent reaction by former Prime Minister
Raila Odinga, calling for mass action to reverse
the changes.
In his wisdom, Ngunyi advised Raila to call off the January 4th mass action or
else he will lose terribly in 2017 polls, saying the former PM is being set up by
President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Ngunyi, Uhuru is using the draconian amendments to infuriate
Raila to act irrationally and in the process bring him down piece by piece
politically.
