Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Ann Waiguru, has joined the “Big Kahunas” of the city after she bought land along Ronald Ngala Street in Nairobi where she is building a multi­million business plaza that is almost complete. Sources whispered to us that she has been spotted there inspecting the mega structure that will be one of the landmark buildings in downtown Nairobi. Waiguru’s business premises that will be complete early next month consist of offices, shops, restaurants, conference halls among other things.

Waiguru has been accused of being one of the masterminds of the massive looting at NYS. She is said to have accumulated alot of wealth by looting public funds when she headed the Devolution docket that is well financed in the budget.

Although Waiguru has distanced herself from corruption at NYS, her sudden change of lifestyle has left more questions than answers. She bought a house worth Ksh 150 million in Kitisuru and now, she is building a multi­million plaza along Ronald Ngala Street.
