Death strikes UHURU’s ‘family’ as it loses a politician ‐ This may affect Jubilee in 2017

 a leader who stood for the rights of other people. Kimani was elected in 2013 on The National Alliance (TNA) Party ticket, and was among the few leaders who defended the rights of minority Kikuyu community in Baringo County. He was also a strong supporter of the new Jubilee Party and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re­election bid in 2017. Before his death, Kimani was the chairman of the Agriculture Committee in Baringo County.
