Ongera, who is now a nominated Senator thanks to Baba, revealed that the former PM denied Okello the ODM ticket because he didn’t know him well.
Besides, Okello was not ready to part with something. She regretted her mistake of allowing herself to be used by Raila to deny Okello his ticket.
“Let me tell you people that I was a Director for Elections in ODM at the time and I want to tell you a secret.” “I know very well that Jared Okello won the nomination but we did something because of Raila but this time I am sure he will win,” Ongera confessed.
