Makerere University lecturer Stella Nyanzi was forcefully evicted from her office after she fell out with Mahmood Mamdani, Executive Director Makerere Institute of Social Research (MISR).
For starters, Dr. Stella Nyanzi is an outspoken activist who has never shied away from firing salvos at Museveni. She is a die hard supporter of Kizza Besigye and she believes the opposition leader is the duly elected president of Uganda.
Nyanzi clashed with Mamdani after she refused to teach on his PhD program which she says was not in her contract.
Mamdani then served Nyanzi with an eviction letter instructing her to vacate her office at Makerere Institute of Social Research since she refused to teach.
