According to eye witnesses, trouble started after Apollo Sansa Kabumbuli, the Kamuswaga of Kooki Chiefdom, who was driving himself in his official vehicle, refused to give way for Ssekandi’s convoy.
His shoes were removed and he was bundled into a police pick up before speeding off to Masaka central police station.
