SAD...BRIGHT UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI STUDENT TURNS INTO A STREET BOY DUE TO LACK OF SCHOOL FEES

A young bright student who had been admitted to the University of Nairobi has now become a street boy after his disadvantaged family failed to raise his school fees and meet his basic needs.

The former Biosystems Engineering student whose name has been given as Simon Nyakundi is languishing in Nairobi streets.

Described as a bright and hard-working student by a former classmate, Nyakundi is said to have given up university after it became evident that his family couldn’t raise his school fees.
