Regina, who was then the director of ICT and multimedia at the United States University, was household name back in the 90s when she hosted the popular game show Omo Pick A Box on KBC.

On Sunday September 13, 2015, marked one year since Regina's demise and Caroline, the group marketing manager at Radio Africa, wrote a moving message in memory of her departed sister:
It is hard to believe that it has been a year
Since you had to leave and go away from here.
Oh Reggie,
If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane
I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again
We never got to say goodbye. Why?
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.
It’s been a year. It’s been a year – but it still feels like it was today.
May her soul continue to Rest In Eternal Peace
