SAD! HERE ARE THE SEVEN PUPILS WHO DIED IN DIANI WHILE SWIMMING IN THE INDIAN OCEAN- PHOTO

Yesterday the day ended on a tragic note after news broke out that seven pupils from St Martin Primary School in Kahuro, Murang’a, had drowned while swimming in the Indian Ocean.

The pupils drowned after they went swimming in the sea close to the Bidi Badu Beach Bar at the Diani seafront.

The boys aged between 13 and 15 were on a school tour at the coast as they awaited to sit their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination in November.

The bodies of  the seven pupils were retrieved by Red Cross team and divers then later taken to Msambweni Hospital mortuary.
