Sauti Sol are without a doubt the most successful band in Kenya. In this regard when it came to performing for President Obama and our very own President Uhuru Kenyatta, it was no surprise that they were chosen. Having reached international standards Kenyans could not help but wonder how much the group was actually paid. According to Ghafla Kenya, the band was paid nothing for their performance.
However with some people imagining that this was unfair, it seems that the move might just have opened up new gates to the international markets.
