This was bound to happen. Days after the analogue switch-off, Senior managers at Citizen TV met and decided to cut the salary of their employees because the station is currently in a financial turmoil.

A source at Citizen TV revealed that there was a memo written to all employees informing them that there will be a huge reduction in their salaries.

On Thursday, majority of journalists at Citizen TV among them Janet Mbugua and Swaleh Mdoe were shocked after receiving their pay-cheques.

There was a huge reduction in their salaries, something they have never experienced ever since they started their careers in the media industry.

A s3xy female anchor at the station, who is known for her strong appetite for S3x, stormed the HR office on Friday protesting the pay cut.

Apparently, she has bought majority of her property on loan after breaking up with her husband and she now fears for the worst.
When will this drama end? Maybe it's high time these senior managers swallow their pride and get back on air.
