President Uhuru Kenyatta's "Daughter" Emily Wanjiku Enrolled In A High Class School...PHOTOS

6 year old Emily Wanjiru stunned the President and his guests during the 2014 Drama Festivals State Concert when she splendidly recited a poem to the amazement of everyone.

After airing her sad story which showed her living in abject poverty at Gachororo slum in Juja the president himself came to her rescue. He got her a new home and financial support with the promise of being enrolled in a new school.

The talented young girl has now reported to her new school St Petroc Premier School but she will be starting in September since she qualified for the National Music Festival to be staged in Mombasa next month.
