A goat born with extra limbs plus both male and female reproductive organs has shocked the farmers in Croatia.
According to Zoran Paparic, the owner of the farm, he couldn't believe his eyes when saw something resembling a scary creature from a horror film. Vets assume that the mutation was caused by an underdeveloped twin sibling goat.
Althought his goat-mother Sarka is an absolutely normal animal the miraculous baby has eight legs and reproductive organs of both sexes. Talking about the incident Mr Paparic noted that when he counted the goat's legs he thought that he had a double vision and called the neigbour to make sure that he didn't get cranky.
However the goat's owner does not expect him to survive as the baby is too weak. But if one more miracle happens the man will keep his 'miracle of nature.' It was learnt that the goat-mother, Sarka, always has triplets but this time something went wrong and the yet to be named extraordinary goat appeared.
In biology, a hermaphrodite is an organism that has reproductive organs normally associated with both male and female sexes. Historically, the term hermaphrodite has also been used to describe ambiguous genitalia and gonadal mosaicism in individuals of gonochoristic species, especially human beings.
