Western nations have assured President Uhuru Kenyatta of their commitment to supporting his government in eliminating terror threats in the country.
Terrorism is a global challenge that has no boundaries. When people are attacked, we all mourn regardless of the race or political differences.
That’s why, when the envoys representing different countries from the West, they all read from the same script and vowed to support the government of President Kenyatta.
“The new schemes being employed by the group are not only a threat to Kenya's security but to the whole world”, the envoys said.
They said that judging by what is happening currently I the country, cooperation between their countries and Kenya.
The West has vast interest in Kenya ranging from investment and tourism attraction and Kenya at peace is their fundamental concern.
The four envoys expressed their governments’ willingness to help the Kenya build its capacity in dealing with the group.
President Kenyatta welcomed the idea of partnering together to eradicate terrorism from the country as he shared his framework on how he is going to handle the matter.
