This beauty, the hot flame of power showbiz TV hunk Nick Mutuma, is an ambitious go-getter who sheds no tear for her broken relationship. Neither does she bury her face in the sand when talking about the romantic celebrity affair that sprung her into public limelight.
“People recognized me more through Nick. Our affair led to my fashion business and visibility. I do not regret a thing,” says the 22-year-old who was born, raised and schooled in Voi until she moved to Nairobi in 2008. The two, who had been on each other’s side for two years, broke up in October of last year.
“The decision to break up was mutual,” a rather shy Bridget remarks.
From being referred to as Nick’s girlfriend, her title has changed to Nick’s ex-girlfriend, at least, so in urban Nairobi showbiz.
Probed further, she opens up.
“As you grow old, there are some things you feel are not worth the time anymore. There are things that stop being fun. You grow old and you feel some things are not worth taking anymore,” she notes.
She adds, “The expectations people have of you, the groupies around Nick and the perceptions that people have are too much. You just have to be real,” the fashion hot siren who is in her second year at the University of Nairobi, studying Public Relations opens up.
