waiter had given him a false bill so as to prise a tip from him. But the defiant waiter insisted that some of his crew had eaten more than what was paid and so he had to settle the bill. When the situation got out of hands, the laid-back comedian decided to settle the bill which was in excess of Ksh 6,000.
But the stubborn waiter followed him out of the club and a verbal exchange of words ensued.
This angered Churchill and he phy sically assaulted him with kicks and blows. Sources indicate that he later bribed the cunning waiter with Ksh 10,000 to keep the matter in the dark.
