Kenyan Actress Lupita Nyong'o Wins SAG Award, Her Second Hollywood Award this Week

For the second time this week, Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o has won a major Hollywood award. Lupita, who starred in the hit movie ’12 Years a Slave’, on Saturday won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards.

This is the second honor for Lupita this week, who also received a Choice award on Thursday in the same category.

The 2014 awards were broadcast on TNT and TBS live from the Shrine ExpositionCenter in Los Angeles.
