Three men have been charged at the High Court in Kisii with killing their kinsman. They appeared before Justice Edward Mureithi and pleaded not guilty to killing Joseph Mogaka Nyamwanda on September 8, at Birongo market.
Following a successful application by the prosecution, the judge ordered that the three be held in the Kisii Police Station cells for seven days within which more investigation would be carried out.
He further ordered the suspects to appear before court on September 18 to make their bail application. In another case, Fred Omari pleaded not guilty before a Kisii court magistrate, Ruth Maloba. He was charged with committing an indecent act with a child.
